Dr. Robert Wicker is a native of Lebanon, Ky . He completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science and Doctor of Medicine while attending the University of Kentucky . He was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, the honor society of medicine, upon graduation in 1991.
Dr. Wicker then moved to Charlotte and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology in 1995 at Carolinas Medical Center (CMC). While at CMC, he met his wife, Suzanna Fox, an obstetrician/gynecologist with Eastover-University OB/GYN. They have three boys who are active in multiple sports including soccer, football, and swimming.
Dr. Wicker currently serves on CMC's OB/GYN Quality Assurance committee and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology. Dr. Wicker is particularly interested in high-risk obstetrics including multifetal pregnancy, autoimmune diseases and thrombophilias. He is adept in multiple gynecologic procedures including laparoscopic hysterectomies, endometrial ablation and procedures for correction of pelvic prolapse and urinary incontinence.
Dr. Wicker is accepting patients at Charlotte OB/GYN's offices at Morehead Medical Park and Northcross Medical Park.
